Whether you need a simple cleaning and exam, a cavity filled, a root canal, an extraction, or a dental implant, you deserve the very best. To provide you with the care you deserve, we use only the latest, state of the art dental technology.

Digital X-Rays

X-rays are an important tool for monitoring your oral health and diagnosing numerous issues. They show the parts of your mouth that are not easily seen. Digital X-rays use electronics to take these images. Instead of a film strip, images are captured by a small electronic sensor in your mouth. Instead of developing the X-rays, they show up ready to read on a computer monitor. We can more closely examine different parts of your X-rays to see even the tiniest details.

Intra Oral Camera

The intraoral camera allows us to examine your mouth more effectively, and more comfortably than the mirror that is traditionally used. The camera is quite small and is at the end of a handheld wand. Instead of leaning over your face to examine your mouth, the camera allows us to see your teeth, gums, and other intraoral tissues on a monitor. We can also take stills, which allows us to take a closer look at a particular part of your mouth. This allows you to rest your mouth, making exams more comfortable.

Soft Tissue Dental Laser

A soft tissue laser allows us to perform many different types of procedures without the use of a scalpel. We can remove excess or infected tissue, create a more even gum line, disinfect periodontal pockets, and more. The laser is much more accurate than a scalpel, leaving more healthy tissue intact. It seals blood vessels, limiting bleeding. The laser also causes substantially less tissue trauma. As a result, pain and swelling are lessened and healing times are reduced.

Ultrasonic Scalers

Scaling is the process of cleaning bacteria, plaque, and tartar from the surfaces of your teeth. Traditionally, this has been done with a manual tool. We had to scrape the surfaces of your teeth. In most cases, this is a painless process. However, if you have sensitive gums, hitting the tissue could cause pain. An ultrasonic scaler uses electromagnetic waves to vibrate the tip of the scaler. The speed at which the tip vibrates is strong enough to break up even the most stubborn buildup from your teeth without damaging the teeth or harming your gums. Cleanings with an ultrasonic scaler are faster and more comfortable.

There are many single-use items in the dental office. There are also many that are reused. To ensure your safety, everything that is reused is sterilized. All tools are cleaned thoroughly of visible debris. They are then dried and placed in sterilizing pouches. Finally, they are placed into the sterilizer. Indicators are used to make certain that the tools are properly sterilized. In addition to sterilizing tools, we also sterilize surfaces in the exam rooms, including countertops, drawer handles, the dental chair, and light. All of this is done to ensure your safety during your dental treatments.
